USONP - Finals

 Angelo Faustino d. Damon Gillette 6-3, 5-7, 7-5

Faustino won the Intermountain US Open Playoffs in a grueling three set match against Damon Gillette. This was Fasutino's first three set match of the tournament. He is 22 years old and from Littleton, Colorado. He played tennis for Metro State College where he and his team won their conference, won their regionals and competed in nationals.

Faustino will be competing in the National US Open Playoffs for a chance to compete at the US Open. He plans on training hard by lifting and hitting a lot of balls.

If Faustino makes it to the US Open he would like to play Federer since he is the best in the world.

 Vasilisa Bardina d. Meagn Monaghan 6-2, 6-3

Bardina did not drop a set the whole tournament. She is 23 and originally from Moscow, Russia. She has been in the United States for one year. She works at Evergreen Sports Center and has a cheering crowd from there that wear "Team Vas" shirts while they watch her play.

She was ranked 48 in the world and played in four Grand Slams. She took some time off after an injury. She started playing again two months ago and has a coach again.

If she makes it to the US Open she would love to play Kim Clijsters.
