Angelo Faustino d. Damon Gillette 6-3, 5-7, 7-5
Faustino won the Intermountain US Open Playoffs in a grueling three set match against Damon Gillette. This was Fasutino's first three set match of the tournament. He is 22 years old and from Littleton, Colorado. He played tennis for Metro State College where he and his team won their conference, won their regionals and competed in nationals.
Faustino will be competing in the National US Open Playoffs for a chance to compete at the US Open. He plans on training hard by lifting and hitting a lot of balls.
If Faustino makes it to the US Open he would like to play Federer since he is the best in the world.
